Pain Control

Dr. Apata takes excellent care in ensuring that local anesthesia is administered slowly, gently, and comfortably to minimize any discomfort during dental procedures. The length of time the numbness lasts after treatment can vary based on the specific anesthetic used and the individual patient. Typically, the numbness subsides within two to three hours. During this time, parents should watch their children to prevent them from accidentally biting or chewing on their inner cheeks or tongue, which could lead to injury.

Comfort and Gentle Care is Dr. Apata and her Teams Top Priority
